When questioned regarding the performance driver J Dunn advised the mare had been making abnormal breathing noises and in his opinion had flipped its palate. A post-race veterinary and endoscopic examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.

After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and driver R Close the Adjudicative Committee declared RUTHERFORD to be a runner.
